Matching flash to ambient light. Off camera flash 101. Exposure fundamentals.

Sunset portraits.

I’ll provide several models and 32 years of professional portrait and wedding training and experience.

Learn, shoot, build your portfolio.

Must know how to set your camera in manual mode and own a camera that has a hotshoe on top for an external flash.

$60 per person. Returning students $55. Bring a friend who has never attended one of my classes, you both get $5 off.

Mocha’s Magazine Cover Shoot – Virginia Beach Pet Photographer

If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll remember Mocha’s photo and his story about how the staff at the VBSPCA found him tied to a sign in their parking lot one morning. Happily Mocha was adopted and is living the big life with a retired couple and their female lab. Recently I got a call from Allison at the VBSPCA saying that local magazine Pet Tails wants to feature Mocha on their cover. Would I do the photo shoot? Absolutely I said.

Here are some of my favorites. Many thanks to Kierstyn Peterson for getting Mocha’s attention with the squeaky toys and tennis ball.

We’re proud to announce that several of our portraits of local pets have been chosen to be on permanent display at Virginia Beach Veterinarian, Animal Medical Center. AMC is located on Mill Dam Road and is one of the oldest and best vet clinics in VB (We think so!). Thank you to all of our pet owners and to the VBSPCA for bringing their pets to us to photograph.
