Luckily the rain held off for Kirsten and Mark’s wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. The intimate, family oriented reception after was held at the Virginia Beach Resort and Conference Center on the Chesapeake Bay. We thought the reception would be a quiet sit down affair, but once the music started so did the fun....
On the way back from an engagement session the other night, I spotted a big display window full of vintage motorcycles. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a man’s love for vintage cars and motorcycles. So this was like finding a candy store to me.
Maggie and I have been trying to get together so I could photograph her “fur” children since last year’s VBSPCA fundraiser, but the weather kept messing us up. Well, we couldn’t have asked for better weather than last night. So, I finally got to meet Maggie, her husband Steve and the gang.
A gorgeous, gorgeous beach day for an engagement session. Kelly and Jason were really, really easy to work with; they let loose and had a good time just being together. Their wedding is just around the corner on May 2nd at the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo. I can’t wait!
Just playing around with some photos I grabbed yesterday. The tulips are from Norfolk Botanical Garden…literally snapped those while walking by as the wedding party was leaving. The purple iris is in the flower bed next to my studio entrance. Ah, I love it when it starts to get warm again.
